Chinese Democracy - Leaked!
For all of you who thought it would never happen, well it looks like its happening... versions of songs from Chinese Democracy, the new GnR album are comin up online... check out mininova.org, i know they ahve some torrents... or you can search for "I.R.S." or "There Was a Time" in Limewire... Apparently March 2006 is the release date for the most expensive album ever made... reportedly cost $13 Million over 10 years.
The Music is.. interesting...

March is based on what Slash says. I can see Axl pushing it back, just to make him look bad.
There is also a 70% chance, that it won't be called Chinese Democracy anymore, either.

Michael Jackson's last recording was $21 to 25 million in 3 years, from what I understand.

Red China will have free parliamentary elections long before Axl comes out with his new album.

i remember hearing some new material a while back. both were live. one of them was decent if not a bit too reminiscent of 'civil war' and i didn't make it through the other one.

I remember hearing a song called "Oh My God" which I did like. That's noteworthy because there are less than 5 G'n'R songs overall about which I can say this. Not sure if it was to be on the new album or if it's some song from another album that I just missed.

That was for the soundtrack to Arnold's 1999 film End of Days.
I haven't bothered listening, but someone told me one of them sounded like a cross between emo/industrial.
Supposedly the reason that it might not be called Chinese Democracy, is that the song might not make the final track list. Unless, he does a Zeppelin ie Houses of the Holy.

It's going to be interesting at the Nova Rock Festival. They're going to be the Co-Headliner's with Metallica.

They're also going to be performing with Motley Crue in Dublin.
