speaking of the nova rock festival. alice in chains is slated to play that same gig alongside metallica and Gn'R. no real word on who'll be handling the vocals yet though, rumour so far is jerry cantrell's vocalist for his solo outfit.

Another possiblity is Maynard from Tool. He did perform with them back in Feb. 2005.

Let's not forget Van Halen going the reality show bit, to find a new singer to nose dive with.

INXS did it already. I remember hearing Van Halen was going to do it, but then decided not to. That was a while ago.

Van Halen was the original choice, but passed. They than went INXS. For the next one, they went back to Van Halen....and they supposedly accepted, and than changed their minds.

DLR went off on it for most of his show last week.

He kept talking about them going on a 3 month tour, because that's all Eddie can handle. That's on top of all the insults, he made about Eddie aka he wasn't using the honey approach, so don't be holding any breathes.
