I'm looking for some dub with a ton of echo, and a ton of horns. Anyone have some specific artists/albums?

... echo & horns.....

Check out King Tubby - 'Freedom Sounds in Dub' is a good one but he has tons of dub out there. There were plenty of great soundscapes coming out of 70s Jamaica.

I like a cut called 'Don't Let It Pass You By' from UB-40. (at least the 12" version dubs it up pretty well...not sure about the album version)

Burning Spear has nice horns on 'Civilized Reggae'.

The Clash dabble in dub on 'Sandinista' (One more Time/One More Dub + Living in Fame, and the rest of the echo-y maddness on side six). They also stretch out dub-wise on 'Black Market Clash (Bankrobber/Robber Dub & Justice Tonight/Kick it Over)

I borrowed Baaba Maal's Missing You (Mi Yeewnii), Belgian Afro Beat Orchestra's The King Is Among Us and Annbjørg Lien's Aliens Alive. I like the first two, but the third not so much, which is weird, as it's the only of the three that I already knew (and liked).

Well, unless I have CDs from Mars or Krypton or something, everything I listen to is "World Music."
