Willie Nelson
Aight, which one of you bad boys is a Willie Nelson fan? I've downloaded some albums illegally recently and I'm really starting to like him. Of the albums I've heard (Red Headed Stranger, Spirit, Teatro, Countryman, and Stardust), I thought Stardust was probably the best. I also like his reggae album, it's pretty neat. Red Headed Stranger is pretty neat as well as far as country music goes. Very folky.

I've only heard a handful of songs, but he's someone I want to hear more from.

"Stardust" and "Red Headed Stranger" are probably my favorites. Also check out "Phases and Stages" and "Shotgun Willie". Those are awesome albums. He has had a few live albums in the past few years that are pretty decent, too. He puts on these shows and performs duets of his songs with other people or sometimes it will be other people or bands covering his songs.

what's up with his new gay cowboy single 'cowboys are frequently, secretly'? does he really need to cash in on brokeback mountain?

Maybe the IRS came knocking again. I read that this song was written quite some time ago and Nelson had liked it but never recorded it until now. He already has a song in the movie. I guess he could use a little extra cash.

that's pretty much my point. the tune is about 25 years old now and it's been covered by a few other bands already, most notably Pansy Division in the mid 90s. i suppose it's good for Ned Sublette though (he wrote the tune back in 81)
