You know, the local butt-rock station has been all talk radio for a while now. I think the Warrant thing is offically dead now.

Monkeys man is world's coolest

"ARCTIC Monkeys singer Alex Turner has been named the coolest man on the planet, by music paper NME.

The Sheffield band's frontman, who was largely unknown six months ago, has knocked Pete Doherty off the top spot. Arctic Monkeys scored a No 1 single with I Bet You Look Good on the Dance Floor last month."

Personally, I don't agree with the ordering of the list, but then no-ones EVER going to, especially with the arctic monkeys so high up (it is a good album by the way, but if your not a young british NME reader you'd probably miss the finer points of the lyrics).

fair enough, but they could mention some more things that aren't guitarrock though... they are probably a good magazine for certain people, but they have the name of being influential/important(partly through rants like this) for the whole music industry and that's a bit wrong...
