Technics SX-PX662 digital piano

Someone in work here with me is selling a "Technics SX-PX662 digital piano". They are looking for 900 Euro.

Does anybody know anything about these digital pianos.

Do they sound fairly real compared to an actual piano?
What's the sound quality like?
Is this an outdated model?
Any known problems with these?
Does that seem like a good price?

Just wondering about the pitfalls if any in me buying this and also if anybody has positives I would like to know.

Regards,
Dec.

It depends on the brand and the model.
Yamaha's Clavinovas are more than excellent for example.

Technics pianos are really good, particularly the ensemble ones. They generally sound like concert pianos, but of course, it varies with the model of the piano. As far as being outdated, I know of someone that bought one in 2003 brand spankin new. So, i guess for that, it really isn't outdated (though it does'nt come with CD burners yet, which would be really nice). It does have a 3 1/2 floppy disk drive to save music to. Thier keys are weighted so that they feel like concert piano keys (they aren't light like normal digital pianos). That model aslo comes with a lot of features, it looks like from online. So, 900 Euro isn't that bad for it, if I lived in Europe I'd take it . Just check up on the quality and maintainence of it. Make sure nothings broken . I hope this helps .
