Tupac fans and conspiracy nuts unite!

I'd like to accumulate a fact and fiction sheet about the "death" of Tupac Shakur. The story itself is fascinating, so I figured I'd write about it while I read about it.

This page will be edited as I get information, or receive information from others. Please post any information you have that is relevant to the subject.



The Story

Saturday, September 7, 1996
Tupac Shakur and Death Row's Marion "Suge" Knight visit the Mike Tyson - Bruce Seldon fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Travon Lane (a Death Row affiliate also known as "Tray") was confronted by several members of the Southside Crips two months ago on the Lakewood Mall in Compton. During the scuffle Travon Lane's Death Row medallion/necklace was taken from him.
When Travon Lane walks through the MGM lobby he spots a man, later identified as Orlando Anderson (the same man Travon thought who had taken his medallion). Travon Lane points out the man to Tupac and he confronts him with the question "You from the South?" (this scene is captured on tape by MGM surveillance cameras).

After the 109 seconds fight (around 8.55 pm) a gleeful Tupac baits a camera crew in the MGM lobby and leaves the MGM together with Suge Knight.

Back at his room in the Las Vegas Luxor hotel, Tupac is upset cause he couldn't find someone of the Outlawz, who planned to be at the Mike Tyson fight with him. One member of the Outlawz, Khadafi, will become an eye-witness to the shooting the same day and is found dead one week later in New Jersey. Khadafi R.I.P.
Tupac (now wearing a black basketball jersey and not the white silk shirt he wore inside the MGM) and Suge, surrounded by women, are catched by an amateur videographer outside the MGM in Las Vegas.

Saturday, September 7, 1996 : 11.15 PM
Tupac and Suge Knight turn off Las Vegas Boulevard onto Flamingo Road.

Suge Knight is driving the black BMW 750 and Tupac sits next to him, they are on the way to Suge's Club 662 to get their party on.

Tupac's window is down and he smiles and yells to fans on the street.

Some women in an oldsmobile and several Death Row cars (around 10) follow them, heading to Club 622 in Las Vegas.

Tupac and Suge Knight stop at a red traffic light in front of the Maxim Hotel.

A white Cadillac with California license plates pulls up to the right of the waiting black BMW. Inside the Cadillac are four passengers.

According to Las Vegas Police one of the four passengers takes out a high caliber gun (Glock .40 caliber handgun) and fires between 10 and 15 (probably 12) shots, sparks fly .... glass and metal everywhere.

Three bullets tear through Tupac's chest, one through his hand and one in his leg. Suge sufferes a minor gunshot wound to the head but is not serious wounded by some bullet fragments.

The scene is watched by dozens of witnesses at the street and the Death Row entourage in cars behind the BMW.
The white Cadillac turns off and moves to down south Koval Street.

Two police men hear the shots and immediately give chase, Tupac bleeds through his jersey and is stretched out in the back of the BMW.

Suge Knight gets the car one mile away and is pulled over by a Police Bike Patrol at the corner Las Vegas Boulevard/Harmon Avenue.

Tupac lost allot of blood, he is being brought into University Medical Center's trauma center and undergoes the first operation shortly before midnight. His right lung is removed when he is operated again more than 20 hours later. He is in very critical condition and doctors give him a twenty percent chance to survive. His mother Afeni Shakur, relatives and friends come to the UMC to be there for him.

According to a Compton police informant, Travon Lane later says (at Club 662) that the shooter was Orlando Anderson aka "Baby Lane" or "Keefee D's nephew", the same man they confronted in the MGM lobby some hours ago.

Monday, September 9, 1996
Since Suge Knight was released from the UMC on Sunday he is not to be found. On Wednesday he appears for Las Vegas police questioning.

Another informant later noticed that Orlando Anderson's cousin drives a late-model white Cadillac into an auto shop.

At 2.58 pm a man (who was mentioned to LAPD as someone who might have been sitting inside the white Cadillac two days ago) is shot.

Tupac still in critical condition momentarily opens his eyes. His family and friends inside the UMC and hundred of fans outside hope and pray for him.

Wednesday, September 11, 1996
At 9.05 am Bobby Finch (reputed to be Southside Crip) is gunned down on South Mayo. Later Las Vegas police receive telephone calls that Bobby Finch might have been sitting in the white Cadillac too.

The next days (September 13/14) ten more people (five Bloods) are shot (wounded/killed) in seperate shootings.

Las Vegas Police receive more and more calls that Orlando Anderson was the man who shot on Tupac and that people have seen him with a 40. caliber Glock handgun.

Thursday, September 12, 1996
Tupac is still in very critical condition, his eyes are closed and he struggles for his life. He is connected to several intensive care unit apparates. His family and thousands of fans around the world hold out hope.

Friday, September 13, 1996 : 4.03 AM
Tupac Shakur passed away at 4.03 am because of respiratory failure and cardiopulmonary arrest. He was 25 years old.

Theories, Rumors, and Observations

• 2Pac began calling himself Makaveli. Machiavelli was an Italian war strategist who advocated faking one's death to fool their enemies. 2Pac was a fan of Machiavelli and had read his books. Perhaps 2Pac is taking his advice?
  
  
• 2Pac was cremated the day after he died. Since when does some one get cremated the day after a murder? There was no autopsy. Plus, no one can ask to dig up his grave like they wanted to do with Elvis and like they did with Abraham Lincoln.
  
  
• 2Pac has completed several movies and new albums and keeps on appearing on new artist's albums. (Many of the unheard songs 2Pac has completed are unreleased and not on any albums) Why would he do so much at one time??? With so many people upset about 2Pac's death, literally anything connected with him is bound to net a whole lot of cash...
  
  
• In a 1994 interview with Tupac, he said before he went to prison that if he was ever sent to prison when he came out he would be worse than before. He was. He also said when he came out it would be like he was reborn. Was he speaking literally? He already died and he was worse when he came out of jail, plus Tupac switched his rapping name from 2Pac to Makaveli, that could be considered a rebirth, all that's left is a physical rebirth (A sighting) and so far he's already completed more than half of this prophecy.
  
  
• The cover of 2Pac's latest album, Makaveli, features 2Pac posed as Jesus Christ... Could he be planning a resurrection?
  
  
• Las Vegas is a payoff city, meaning all sorts of folks have been known to be on the take. That means doctors, press, lawyers, etc.
  
  
• The producer on the new Makaveli album is simply "SIMON."
  This was the apostle who helped Jesus carry the cross and one of the first to witness his resurrection. Could Suge be SIMON?
  
  
• There are many numerological coincidences. Tupac was gunned down exactly seven months after All Eyez On Me was released. The number seven keeps coming up too. He was shot on September 7th and survived on 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, and died the 13th. This could explain the title of his new album.... "The Don Killuminati: The 7 day theory." 2pac was 25. His age adds up to 7 (2 + 5). Even his time of death, 4:03, adds up to 7 (4 + 0 + 3). Also, on track five on the Makaveli album the voice at the begining says "And if the Lord returns in the coming seven days, then we'll see ya next time." He even talks about the number 7 on his album! There are more 'coincidences' too.. The newest is on his brand new double album entitled "R U Still Down?". This album was released on November 25th. 2 + 5 = 7. The 7 day theory continues! What's with this????
  
  
• Inside the cover of 2Pac's newest album, it reads "Exit: 2pac, Enter: Makaveli" as if 2pac has died and Makaveli born. There is also that statement by 2Pac saying when he came out it would be like he was reborn.
  
  
• 2Pac's video 'I Ain't Mad At Ya' foretold his death .... 2Pac dies in that video, then a new video came out under the name "Makaveli". Its just like 2Pac died in "I Ain't Mad At Cha", and Makaveli was born in "Toss It Up". Exit 2Pac Enter: Makaveli.
  
  
• In the video "Toss It Up", 2Pac is supposedly wearing some Penny Hardaway sneakers which were not available at the time of his death!!!! Also, some say in the video "Live & Die In LA" when 2Pac jumps in the car you see that he is wearing some Michael Jordan sneakers which were not available at the time of his death!
  
  
• 2Pac always wore a bulletproof vest but for some strange reason he didn't wear one this time.. why not?
  
  
• On September 8th Las Vegas Police received 700 calls that people had seen Tupac in Haiti.
  
  
• The memorial services that were open to the public were canceled in both Los Angeles and Atlanta.
  
  
• 2Pac's vehicle got shot 12 times and Suge didn't get hit once.. He was 'grazed' by a bullet.. Why did 2Pac get shot all those times and Suge not get hit?
  
  
• The white Cadillac containing the assailants was never found... How could this be when Vegas is in the middle of a desert?
  
  
• Las Vegas is in the middle of the desert. How come there was no helicopter chase? If some one were to rob a casino, the LVPD would've chased you down with some helicopters.. . How come this didn't happen with 2Pac shooting?
  
  
• A shooting involving Snoop Doggy Dogg occurred close to the release of his album Doggystyle which made Snoop appear more "real" and showed that he really was a gangsta. The shooting gave him respect because everyone that bought his album believed what he was talking about. Within one week of its release, Doggystyle went platinum. Snoop is signed to the same label as Tupac which is Death Row Records.
  
  
• Suge said he drove 2Pac to the hospital and they had a coherent conversation? How bad was 2Pac hit? In addition to all this .. there are conflicting stories claiming that Quincy Jone's daughter was in the back of the car.. and then she wasn't.. what's the deal for real?
  
  
• Have you seen the video of the song "Smile" by Scarface and Makaveli?? I have heard it's not 2Pac in that video. It is the look-alike from Ohio. (That's why '2Pac' never looks at the camera) The video starts out showing a car just like the one 2Pac got shot in, and the car of course has bullet holes in it! You then hear garbled words and then they show 2Pac (Makaveli) up posing as Jesus Christ again! That's Twice! Once on the album & now in this video!?
  
  
• In the movie "Gridlock'd" Tupac and Roth are in the diner and they glance up at the menu, all the L's are upside down 7's.
  
  
• In the movie "Gang Related" Tupac and Belushi wait in room 7, and Tupac's badge number is 115; 1+1+5=7.
  
  
• The cross on Tupac's back says "Exodus 16:31." The verse found right above it: "So the people rested on the seventh day." All of Exodus 16 deals with the 7 Days.
  
  
• The title of the new album by Makaveli (Tupac) is The 7 Day Theory. He was shot on September 7th; and survived on the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, and died the 13th.
  
  
• Tupac's album "All Eyes on Me" was released on Feb 13, 1996. Tupac died on Sept 13, 1996. The two dates are exactly 7 months apart.
  
  
• Tupac officially died at 4:03 PM. 4+3 = 7 at an age of 25 years. 2+5 = 7.
  
  
• Tupac's alias is Makaveli. Machiavelli was a 16th century italian philosopher who advocated the staging of one's death in order to evade one's enemies and gain power. In Machiavelli's "Discourses Upon the First Ten Books of Titus Livy", Book 2 Chapter XIII he says "a prince who wishes to achieve great things must learn to deceive".
  
  
• Tupac studied Machiavelli in depth while in prison.
  
  
• Some say that Tupac modified the Machiavelli name because if you rearrange the letters they spell "Am Alive".
  
  
• The cover of Tupac's album Makaveli has him looking like Jesus Christ resurrected
  
  
• The executive producer of The 7 Day Theory as listed in the CD booklet of the album is Simon (who is an unknown producer in the rap music industry). In the bible Simon was an apostle of Jesus. Simon was one of the first witnesses of the Resurrection listed by Saint Paul (I Cor. 15: 5). The Outlawz have confirmed Simon is a reference to Suge Knight who was with Tupac the night of the shooting.
  
  
• The video "I ain't Mad at Cha" was released only a few days after his death. "I ain't Mad at Cha" is track 13 on the album All Eyes On Me. The video shows Tupac as an angel in heaven. In the video Tupac was shot after leaving a theater with a friend which is very similar to how he was shot in real life.
  
  
• In most of his songs he talks about being buried. So why was he allegedly cremated the day after he died? And since when do they cremate someone the day after death in a murder case?
  
  
• Tupac continues to release CD's claimed to be un-released recordings of the early 90's.
  
  
• In interviews prior to the shooting, Tupac talked about how he wanted to stop rapping and being a gangsta and get out of the limelight. If the public thought he was dead Tupac could completely escape the media spotlight.
  
  
• The Press wasn't going to be allowed at the funeral, but then the funeral was canceled for unknown reasons.
  
  
• There is a 72 million dollar life insurance policy on him which has yet to be cashed. No legal actions could be taken against him as long as it isn't cashed.
  
  
• The only witness who was going to step up and I.D. the shooter was Kadafi (Yafeu Fula) but he was shot a few months after Tupac.
  
  
• Why wouldn't a company as powerful and rich as Death Row Records (Suge) not put up a reward to find the killers?
  
  
• Why have Suge Knight and the rest of his entourage been so uncooperative with police in solving the murder?
  
  
• Pac's All Eyez on Me, came out in Febuary, Makaveli's 7 day Theory came out in November. Thats 9 months. Like a pregnacy and then giving birth. Pac was reborn as Makaveli.
  
  
• This is could be the weirdest clue of them all, but it could be most bullshit one. Right now thats how it stands, unless I can find proof. Need you guys help wit this one. Okay, I recieved a email a while ago about the show Total Request on MTV with Carson Daly. I guess thats the show they read your emails. Well, the email said that Carson read an email that said, "Did you think I'd die?"....Rukahs, Africa. Then Carson said "Oops, wrong card...", and put it away. Now this guy who told me this, said he checked it out, and their is a town in Africa by this name. Now I have yet to find it, and that where I need your help. Now we know Rukahs is Shakur spelled backwards, and also that it was the name of the place in the "I Wonder if Heaven Got a Ghetto," video.

Chuck D's Theories

Public Enemy's Chuck D was one of the first strong supports of the alive theories. These are his reasons:

I use to have a lot of facts and theories about all of the stuff surrounding Tupac's death on an old site of mine, but it all disappeared with the site.
I believe he is dead, only because all the theories and everything said he should have been back in 7 years and it's been way longer than that. I wish he was still alive so we would still have atleast 1 good hardcore rapper. most of them now are going soft. or don't sing anything that have any relevance to who they are or what they are about.

Him and Morrison keep drinking the merchandise, which eats up Elvis' profits.
