What make and model is the turntable?

No, I gave the bunch a couple run-throughs, and I didn't see anything even jazz-related except for some Gershwin, and maybe some of the other broadway shows. The turntable's a Pioneer PL-A450, but it doesn't seem like it's gonna work. We can't even get it spinning, although we're gonna go back to get the receiver and try it with that. If it doesn't work out, I'll just keep the records and get a new turntable for my birthday.

Welcome back, Grasshoppa.
Excellent box set! I just which they did a better job on the remastering for the Blanton/Webster period. However, in the end, it's all about the music.
At least, it lets me extend the life of the vinyl.

If anyone is wondering, the most recent set of the Blanton/Webster period
Uses the exact same remastering, as in the Centennial box.
My recommendation would be the Centennial set, if you can handle it financially. The booklit is excellent, and of course, all that great music in one place. The only other negative is the packaging. You need to be careful with the cds, they can fall out easily.
The box is out of print, but you can get a copy for half the original price on Ebay, almost all the time.

Alright, I'm not trying to ruin Don Ho's day or anything. He's okay.
