P.S. The Grasshoppa brought a tear to Satchmo's eye....and before anyone says anything THE SHADOWS are on stand-by.

Encore comes on, and the crowd goes wild, as I continue working on my essay.

It'd make my day if all of these out of print or nearly out of print Braxton recordings arrived on my doorstep tomorrow afternoon (especially that pesky Willisau set), paid for and in mint condition. Then I could go through with my planned hard-bop blow-out without a guilty conscience, but now I feel I better get some of this out of print stuff before it's gone for good. At least it's excellent music. Still, I could really go for some more hard bop. Oh well...

The only Braxton that I have posted tonight, that is close to impossible to find (aka Satchmo out of print) is the Dortmund. However, that is a hatOLOGY limited edition of 3000. The others are still around and can be found on one or more of those on the List.

Yo!

Eric comes and goes. The usual routine that I don't have to tell you about. Who knows...
