Or maybe not, since this date has been removed from the toolband.com site for no apparent reason

Went to the concert. It was great. Scofield's on a world tour now supporting his recent Ray Charles tribute album.
He opened with a 15 minute version of "I Got a Woman"; closed with "What'd I Say"; and encored with "Unchain My Heart" and "(The Night Time is) The Right Time". Great show.
Listened to Steel Pulse with Islands Unite

I saw Augie March a few weeks ago.

They played a pretty heavy set, which was interesting... or not really what a lot of us there wanted to hear. At least they finished with "There's no such place" which was really nice.

It looks like their sound has changed...maybe. I'll wait until I hear the new album "MOO, YOU BLOODY CHOIR" (which I think is an awesome title).

Of Montreal on Saturday night. Just recently got my hearing back, good stuff. Last time I saw such energy on stage was at a Weird Al concert.

I saw Nine Inch Nails last night in Knoxville.

Extra fun. They played a lot of stuff off the older albums, which I was happy about. I was kind of worried about NIN live, you know, drum machines and synthesizers, but then before I went I read about the touring bands and what not. Action packed, for sure. I'd describe more, but I'm tired, I might say more later.
