Sorry if this is in the wrong section, didn't know where else to post it.

I was just wondering if there is any such thing as sites with blank sheet music online that you can electronically write music on.. so if you wanted to show somebody via e-mail or IM or whatever you could do so? I mean it seems like someone must've thought of it already so if you know any sites that offer that I'd appreciate it.

The software is free and decent. Currently, there are some legal issues holding up websites that offer songs already tabbed in this format. The software, however, is still available. It is a bit tedious to create your own music by typing in the individual notes, but it looks nice and beats scribbling on paper. You can view the tab and sheet music versions at the same time.
