Mmm I'll probably get it anyway...

and the Buffalo Springfield thing is understandable in a way, but it's nice to listen to new music too, but I'm probably less "hindered" by knowledge of older music anyway...

I've heard the album-It's great. It's like their last album with a litte more rock to it.

okay I also downloaded act of apostle part one, we are the sleepyheads and the blues are still blue. Fairly diverse. Act of the apostle is old school B&S, my favourite of the new tracks I've heard, we are the sleepyheads is (funnily enough) a very upbeat and uptempo song with a cool vocal hook which is heaily echoed, by sarah (violinist and singer), the blues are still blue is a Very old school Bluesish song(you couldnt tell that by the title though).

I think I will eventually prefer this album to DCW, but I don't think it will have a song as brilliant as 'Step into my Office, Baby'

hehe "Step into My Office, Baby" is one of their songs that I like least, "I'm a Cuckoo", "Piazza New York Catcher", the title song and "Stay Loose" are my favourites of DCW

I acquired it today, and it is fantastic. Lots of different musical styles, and yet undeniably b&s!!!

better than DCW I think

I might get it at the end of the week... although the Isobel Campbell & Mark Lanegan album looks promising as well... I've heard Amorino, her first solo album, once and thought it was dead boring, and too overtly sweet (or twee if you like), but with the added gruff of Lanegan's voice it might work well. I heard a few songs and they sounded quite nice.
