bob hund

bob hund is a nice Swedish (indie) rock band, they also have recorded stuff as Bergman Rock, mainly English adaptations of bob hund songs. I only have Omslag: Martin Kan, but I really like it. Well, I like hearing Swedish quite a bit. What other albums should I check out, Haakon?

Hehe, sorry I didn`t see this until now. First I just need to ask if you understand swedish? I know you lived there a bit, but did you learn the language?

To get right on it, Omslag: Martin Kann is a very good album, but the best is Bob Hund 2 I think. But if you like Bob Hund, you have alot of good songs to choose from. I`ve just ripped it all (I`ve got most, but not all) to my computer and weeded out those I don`t like, still I have got 47 songs in that list. I don`t really recommend the band to anyone because it`s a wild shot in any case. You say you like them though, so if you want some new songs, don`t be afraid to pick up anything except "stenåldren kan börja" which is half good half overproduced and tiring. I need to get some of those consert bootlegs with exstensive instrumentals, it should be great!

I understand some Swedish, but I'm still learning and I don't know that much yet, but that doesn't keep me from liking them... I'll check those albums out, thanks!

You could try kent,,, they have got almbums at both english and swedish (though their newer once are only swedish and the swedish versions are better)

I think "Isola" (avalible in english) or the EP "The hjärta & smärta" are kent best albums,, but all albums are quite different,,

kent is recommended strongly.

I've heard some Kent tracks, some of which I like a lot, "Innan Allting Tar Slut" especially, but others passed me by without me noticing anything special about them...
