SAVE THE PLANET
I went to a record shop

I walked into Tower Records today, and they were playing a Sam Cooke CD, stuff he recorded in the late 1950s and early 1960s. It was easy to listen to, so I lingered. I had almost forgotten what civilized music sounded like, I have become so used to hearing rap crap and noise metal. For years, it has been, "If your music sucks, tattoo your body." Sam Cooke was never among my favorites but he sure sounded good today.

Hoe do you get used to listening to crappy music? It's so damn easy to NOT listen to it...

I listen to great music every day of my life.

It is amazing how many of them we get breezing through here. I thought 2005 was quite a good year for music, myself, but that's not mentioning anything Top 40, which may or may not have been having an up or down year....I wouldn't know.
