Can you guys help me pick some good Albums?
I need help with with my IPOD filling the music section. I currently have 4000 and need 6000 more for my IPOD.
I love music, but I can't find anymore bands that I actually like and would like your guys ideas.
I currently hate rap(some rap is good though), Emo, Heavy metal(I like korn and a couple others though), and that preety much sums it up.
Anything well help, just want some popular albums that have been out.
--Thanks.
Listened to Shinedown with Burning Light

Have you tried The Black Keys? They've got 3 killer albums. Raw Blues/Rock.

What kind of music do you like? When you say Heavy Metal, does that include Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, even Metallica?
Dylan, Beatles, Stones if you want the classics.
For Progressive Rock maybe Genesis (early Genesis, that is), Peter Gabriel or Yes.
Some personal recommendations would be Leonard Cohen, Rory Gallagher, Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, Creedence

I'll focus on the singer-songwriter type stuff:
Neil Finn/Crowded House. Any of them would work, but for the beginner, go for WOODFACE by the band and ONE ALL (or ONE NIL--largely the same album) by Finn solo.
Aimee Mann--BACHELOR #2. Maybe the best album by a female solo artist since COURT AND SPARK by Joni Mitchell.
Ryan Adams--COLD ROSES. Alt.country genre, and a stunning set of songs.
Paul McCartney--CHAOS AND CREATION IN THE BACKYARD. It's been a long time since I could recommend a Paul McCartney album without hesitation, but this one is that good from start to finish.
I'll leave it here for now. I agree with those that would like to know more about what you like now, as that makes it easier to suggest other titels.

Five Iron Frenzy - Upbeats and Beatdowns is a great album. Christian ska at its best.
