AKG K701 and K601 headphones
Anyone else looking/drooling for these two new headphones from AKG?

The K701 looks especially tasty, but the K601 might suit my preference and wallet the most. I have the K141 Studio right now, and am quite pleased with it, besides that it gets uncomfortable after a couple of hours. According to http://www.headphone.com they should be very crap in comparison to the K601, so I would like to spend some money and experience real good sound.

They have just been released, any chance that someone here has got one of them?

I`ve considered those two also, especially the dt880. But I listen to mostly rock, electronic or rap. So I don`t know if the bass will do on them. Have you used them?

Somehow the Sennheisers doesn`t really excite me that much, though they are supposed to be the best.

Scored a pair of AKG K701 at work the other day actually. If your wallet allows, take them home with you. AKG are the masters of all things ear warming!
