Party Music !!!

Hey guys, just thought I would drop in to ask for any suggestions for tracks that I should play at my upcoming 17th. I'm into metal and this music isn't really good for parties as I want everyone to be up and dancing, tunes that can get the party cranking. So what kind music (pop or the like) should I play to create a good party atmosphere???

Many thanks.

I have been wanting very, very badly to dance to three songs in particular for the last week. This weekend, yo, I'm kickin it.

1.) New Order - Temptation
2.) Rod Steward - Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?
3.) Tina Turner - What's Love Got to Do?

There's no such thing as good music that is also 'fun'...

Nah, I and I disagree with that statement. A lot of Ska is fun and happy sounding and is still really good. The Aquabats are a great example. Reel Big Fish are another. Of course, if the one dislikes Ska then this probably won't help.

Squig, if the one likes metal music, but wants to keep it light, then maybe some Five Iron Frenzy would be good. Or get Less Than Jake's Hello Rockview for a slightly happier effect.

Just a suggestion.
