I was basically thinking -- okay, if I had to see one of these guys standing on a street corner just playing away on their instruments, who would I want to see first? It's based purely on playing, no historical importance or things of that sort. He's on the list isn't he?
Jeez, I thought I'd hear worse for leaving Bud Powell off entirely.

I'd hate to see what would've happened if he wasn't on the list.

Trust me, I've got it covered. I'm not in the mood for what the Spanish call, "El T'che."
