WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! !
cry me a fucking river already.
first off i hate that bald 'comedian' / dj guy so the video was already losing me from the get go. overtly sexual content has always been censored from the tv and will probably always will be - DEAL WITH IT. if you're honestly expecting MTV in the states to play this video at anytime besides 3 in the morning you're a retard. it's less of a matter of censorship (in which case neither video would exist to be broadcast or distributed through public means like the internet) and a lot more about playing within the clearly defined regulations. drrrty gets airplay because, while they rub their asses all over the line, they never cross that line.
there is no way anyone in the strokes (or associated with them) wanted this video to be played on MTV or other mainstream media outlets.
