Industrial
I'm rather curious about how many other people on these boards like industrial music. Bands/artists such as:
:Wumpscut:
KMFDM
Funker Vogt
Front 242
Front Line Assembly
VNV Nation
Covenant
Leæther Strip
Apoptygma Berzerk
Bile
Das Ich
Haujobb
Hocico
Project Pitchfork
Skinny Puppy
Suicide Commando
Velvet Acid Christ
And there are many others, those are just the bands that I have songs by, and I can personally confirm as being good.
But anyway, any fan of 'dust, speak up!

Well, i like KMFDM, though their music can be quite the mixed bag. Some of it's really bad, and some of it's great.
Funker Vogt and Frontline Assembly are both ok, but i'm not crazy about them.
My favourite industrial would definitely be NIN, though. Very good music.

Ya, NIN is really good, but I usually don't consider his stuff Industrial. While it is created the same way that most other industrial music is, the fact that when he tours he uses a live band, along with the fact that he does not distort his voice like most other industrial does, and that none of his songs have that strong beat that all Industrial does, I do have to say it's more like Industrial-metal or some some other sort of hybrid.

NIN's original stuff was Industrial... as the band got bigger Trent switched more on the metal side.

Well, regardless of how industrial Trent is, his music is still kickass. on top of that, he's hot. how can you go wrong with that combination?

What I love about NIN is that Trent is just as good live as he is in the studio.

have you guys seen the NIN live on DVD? the sound is so clean that it sounds ridiculously FAKE. I know, don't get upset yet. my wife is a big NIN fan and she couldn't stand the surgical clean sound and returned the DVD. well, it was locked up when we got to the main menu anyway.

I like some Front242(have up evil and Off), the only band I really dig is Skinny Puppy. hands down the best in the genre to me. my favorite is Too Dark Park. it always hyped me up!
Sister Machine Gun is pretty cool.
anyone likes Enstruzende Neubauten? they are german, very industrial in a very different way. my favorite is definitely Strategy against arichecture I. Ende Neu is awesome too.

I think so, the one came out not too long ago. I swear I never heard any concert films with sounds that CLEAN. and you don't get to hear the audience cheering neither. what a control freak he is.
