I think all the Solar Fields releases are superb. Ultimae has a 9 digipak deal going right now and I'm going to jump on that next pay day. I really like all the stuff they put out. It's not the usual 'trance' that i'm bored with and that's why I like it.

I'm listening to it right now and it's simply great! It sounds a lot like Arovane and early Autechre, but I can't get enough of any of their albums so this release suits me perfectly.

I never been into electronic music, but as a kid, besides metal, I grew up with 'new wave'. Some of those early bands (talking early 80's) 'made' the sound of today. offcourse kraftwerk were the first, but you had this little belgian band (they live like 5 minutes away from me, and I'm fucking proud!) called THE NEON JUDGEMENT. I bought there best of double album. The first cd is great with classics such as TV Traded, Tomorrow in the papers, The fashion party, nion, please release me let me gogo, Factory walk,....

the second album sucks big time. Modern house bands remixing their songs. So wrong...

Anyway, I don't know how big they are, like I said, I know them as a local band, although someone told me they're quite legendary. So if you don't know them, check them out!

yeah, same here but i prefer "carbon based lifeforms" over any other artist in that genre. i can't wait for their new one.

back to topic. i haven't bought much lately, because of christmas but i'm still waiting for this to arrive. this should be good.
