Best of the 90's

I figured this would be useful to those new, intermediate, and semi-pro to Jazz.

This covers Avant/Free Jazz/Free Improv, as well.

I give you, something to look for from the recent past.

Fair Warning:

It has been deemed by RM's resident troll, that I don't know anything about music and my musical posts are worthless.

You now have been fairly warned!

Some of these may be out of print or Satchmo out of print. I would suggest those hatART or hatOLOGY's you can find first, since they're only released as limited editions of 3000 worldwide.

Had a little time on our hands, did we? List has now been absorbed into my already large jazz wish-list.

It only came to me after receiving 7 pms asking me for some recommendations from more recent releases. It's a lot easier just posting it on the board than having to deal with all the Grasshoppas, potential Grasshoppas, and the curious.

Just like the Blues list....with the Satchmo database it took about 10 minutes to actually put together. The real pain, was seperating it into 3 posts. You can only have 10,000 characters per post.

Oh, I thought you were just in a helpful mood.

Well, my jazz-albums-to-get list is now 20 pages long. It has grown at a suspiciously high rate since I joined this forum. Hmmmmm....
