Its not a question of what's best for Trance, but rather which DAW platform is best for you. Its a matter of taste to some degree, but I notice John Winters uses Ableton Live as his primary tool. In fact, I've seen him use it in live performances, with the acoustic guitar in his lap facing the audience, a keyboard to his right and Dell laptop to his left and his Boss RC-50 at his feet. Compared to all the other products, Ableton is relatively uncommon outside the DJ set. - CW
