Xiu Xiu - Fabulous Muscles
I just bought this album a few days ago. I really enjoy it, but at times I feel they become less artistic and innovative, and start to feel as if they are trying too hard

I like Fabulous Muscles a lot more than their latest offering La Foret. I think perhaps they are kind of losing steam. Either that or they're in a creative slump.

I really like what I've heard of that album, but I've heard that their older ones are even better yeah...

They're not bad. Not something I would listen to on a daily basis, though.

I'm listening to more Xiu Xiu these days, Fabulous Muscles and A Promise are both very good!
Favourite tracks at the moment: "Fast Car" (eat that Tracy!), "I Luv the Valley, Oh!", "Fabulous Muscles (Mama Black Widow Version)" and "Ian Curtis Wishlist".
Sometimes they're a bit abrassive and experimental, but I think it adds to the atmosphere... Although I can say why some people wouldn't like Jamie Stewart's voice, predominantly the emotionality of it all, like when he starts screaming a bit...
