Still making music on my Playstation....

I've been using MTV Music Generator 1 and 2, eJay Clubworld, Magix Music Maker, and Digital Hitz Factory....

I'm interested in finding others out there that do the same. Try www,consolemusician.net for more like me... The radio station is dead but all the songs are still on SoundClick....

Between the 10 or so members on my site we have over 300 songs on SoundClick.... If you make music on the Playstation 1 or 2 and are looking to share with fellow artists... stop by

Or if you're interested in learning more post here... I'm going to check in on the thread every day or so.

What's the problem? There are softwares that were designed for Playstation.

A friend of mine used this to make his songs. Honestly, his songs are crap, but I don't know if this is because of him or because of the software...

I'm pretty sure there was also a program for the Gameboy that did a similar thing, though I could be wrong...

Making music on your playstation?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure it's just mixing. You have a library of preset sounds and loops and lead motifs and you choose and mix then add effects. From what I've read it seems that none of those programs allow you to compose note for note.

Not true, MTV Music Creator for the PSX allows you to take notes and create a pattern. I think you can do drum patterns as well. Now, if only you could plug in a mic a-la Gamecube and record your own little noises etc.
