very basic stuff, Protools Free, reaktor 3, and peak DV(a free wave editor which came with Final Cut Pro II). that's what I got so far. so far so good, I could use more than 8 mono tracks in ProTools Free, but hey, it is free, I am not complaining. by the way, I have no formal musical training, can't play any instrument, don't know any music theories, scales, keys, whatsoever. I just want to make noise for my own amusment. yeah, musical masturbation if you will.

what do you have?

lol, I don't have much, I just basically use the old Acid stuff, and am gonna install reaktor, kontakt and cubase when I get my own PC...I also have Logic5 for PC ( a ripped copy somewhere), but its a bit too complicated for me...probably gonna get an old yamaha dx11 or nord lead 2 for a synth eventually, but would love to have a waldorf microwave...

I never used acid anything, but heard of the name a lot. I got reaktor because it is so flexible and powerful. I can do so much with just that program, it is so worth the money. and you can build your own ensembles in reaktor, I mean, total customization, man!

come on, if you fock around with logic long enough, you eventually would know how to use it.

what is waldorf microwave? I heard of it somewhere before...

nice rack

anyway, let's bring it back to the original topic.

yup, I got a used copy of Chopped Zombie Fungus. I just listened to the first half of the album this afternoon, and it wasn't as sick and twisted as pitchforkmedia described.

I read the following and got curious: 'It's something for which Lucio Fulci and Gescom combined may be no match. This collection is Where the Wild Things Are; only the monsters are horny, hungry, and fighting off Atomic Zombies on the shore of Bikini Beach, amped up on pheromones in Clockwork Orange skivvies." I mean, it sounds like a sure bet for a sick and twisted mind like mine.

but I was a bit disappointed from what I heard so far. I will post more once I finish listening to the whole album. really cool artworks in the CD though.

yeah it is original, I would deny that. I guess I was just hoping for too much freakiness and such and I got disappointed. I bought the CD and I am not gonna sell it cause I know I will go back and listen to it again later. maybe my expectation would wear off and hear something different. like your case with Meiso.

yes, I agree with you there! escalo frio on ebay for 5 bucks + 2 s/h and i found 8000 b.c on overstock.com for that amount...a lot of their stuff is over priced but from some reason, it seems they just want to get rid of that one...i think they have another copy if you want one for yourself...
