Acid Mothers Temple & The Cosmic Inferno -
Starless and Bible Black Sabbath (for those that don't know, the title is a combination of
King Crimson and
Sabbath's recordings. I am sure you can figure out where the cover is taken from, with
Kawabata Makoto in place of the original.) The first track is 35 minutes of channeling
Sabbath by way of
Acid Mothers. The second track is a little over 6 minutes of their version of
Krautrock.

Grateful Dead -
Dick's Picks 30 (
March 25 & 28th,
1972) -
Bo Diddley is on the first of the four cds. Those recordings are basically one of the earliest versions of
Jerry Garcia's Band. It was performed at a
Hell's Angels Benefit. A week later they would start the
1972 European Tour. One track (
Playing in the Band) on disc one is from
March 27, 1972.
* For the
Philistines amongst you....
Only Me? is the translation. If you can't tell from the title, it's a solo recording. His first, to be exact.
