Well, I wouldn't call myself familiar with them...my only exposure to them is hearing snippets of music that literally made me want to seal my ears closed with lead or something; but that would all be from their other album. If you really insist on this new record being worthwhile, I'll try and check it out at some point. I did read a brief interview with some dude in their band (give me a break, I was in an airport), in which he was discussing changes in the band's philosophy that could potentially amount to the change in direction that you're talking about.

Yeah, boredom in the grocery line causes me to read the covers of those celebrity tabloids. So, I sort of forgive you.
I don't insist, because I don't want you to hate it and come back on Radiomute and snub me for it. Just, if the opportunity presents itself. But yes, avoid their last album, it's commercial fluff.
