Blu & Exile - Below the Heavens
One of the best debut recordings that I have heard in a good while in Rap.
If you be down with Old School....

Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio: Cocktails Carnage Crucifixion And Pornography
Swans fans might dig this and Pettersson's other work.

Pretty much went the same for me. I enjoyed it first listen, but didn't think it was as great as Funeral (an excellent album, in its own right). However, it's grown on me with every listen, and I now see it as far superior to their first album. Song for song they might be about on the level, but Neon Bible is a much greater sum of its parts than Funeral, mostly due to how much more consistent and fluid the mood and atmosphere are, whereas Funeral jumps around to the point of jerkiness. Although they're both excellent music, Funeral feels like a collection of songs, where Neon Bible is an album.
