so why do you think its better than the last one? i think theyre a lot like collective soul. theyre heavier but they still play good simple songs, have great melodies and vocal harmonies and have great guitar playing. i dont see a whole lot of difference except aic is heavier and have darker lyrics and vocals. cs for when your in a good mood, aic when your in a bad one.

id say cs are tighter songwriters...aic has a looser jammy grungy sound.

The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place - Explosions In The Sky

I've been listening to this album on and off for the past week. It reminds me of my favorite song off of Godspeed's Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven, Storm (that's the short form of the song title ). So hopeful.

Just an interesting aside:
