Urs Leimgruber

Greetings,

Lately, I have been listening to various albums that features Urs Leimgruber. From the Jazz-Rock group Om to duos with Fritz Hauser. Are there any other members familer with this Swiss saxophonist?

Regards,

Alexander

It's times like this, I wonder why poster's just don't send up the Satchmo signal, as per the Bat signal.

If it's still in print or you can find it anywhere, you want to get both of these!

Quartet Noir
No Try No Fail

After those, you can go with these.

Lines
Statement of an Antrider
L' Enigmatique
Ungleich
Wing Vane

As sideman, I would suggest with Joe McPhee on

Linear B
Old Eyes and Mysteries

* Most of these are hatArt releases; so, I am not sure on their availability.

I am Satchmo and I approve this message.

Greetings Satchmo,

Thank you for the recommendations! I actually own a majority of the listed recordings with the exception of Wing Vane & Linear B. Those two albums are actually crucial discs on my wishlist! Though Linear B may be most difficult to find! Thanks again.

Satchmo, have you heard any Om material or Leimgruber's latest solo album, Blue Log?

Regards,

Alexander
