I'll get this album when it comes out even though by then I'll be painfully bored of hearing about it.

You're not already tired about hearing about it? I think I was before the news came that it was up for release.

My initial thoughts after listening to the entire album are that its very safe. The Boards haven't crossed any new territory like they did with their previous albums (MHTRTC, Geogaddi). They're pleasant songs though. The guitar is used in many of them and its very chill out. However they are so chilled out and light that you start to miss the sinister that Geogaddi had.

Main problems: Less variety and their are a lot of filler songs like 'A Moment Of Clarity', 'Sherbert Head', 'Ataronchronon', and 'Constants Are Changing'.

My favourites though: 'Chromakey Dreamcoat', 'Oscar See Through Red Eye', 'Hey Saturday Sun', and 'Dayvan Cowboy'.

I think I may need to give it time to let it grow on me.

Overall rating: 6.9/10 (and thats coming from a big BoC fan)

i disagree with you about Constants Are Changing...that's such a nice interlude track, sounds on par with Melissa Juice to me, or at least something from Twoism or Old Tunes.

Well yeah, but it'll no doubt get worse.
