I'm trying to get some old NES sounds for ringtones myself. Metroid, Mega Man, Rygar, Zelda, I'd take just about anything I could find.

Recent games: I play a lot less of the newer games. In fact San Andreas was the only game not named Starcraft 2 that was even on my list, meaning it is now empty.

So here are some from a few years ago:

Starcraft (of course)
WC3/Frozen Throne
Sacrifice
Alice (might be Chris Vrenna's best work)
Castlevania 1-4, especially 3 and 4
Zelda - A Link To The Past

EDIT: I was actually LISTENING To the Splinter Cell - Chaos Theory soundtrack as I typed this post and forgot it...(smacks head). I feel deja vu as I type...as if I just did this a couple of weeks ago. For the record, I've never played this Splinter Cell game, but with this good a soundtrack, I'd certainly be interested to check it out...
