KZOK is the resident "classic rock" station here in Seattle, but they are too busy playing the same 24 hours of music to be at all worthwhile. I really don't ever, EVER need to hear "Satisfaction" again, for example, but it's probably playing as I type. Still, they did have the Beatles show on last time I checked, a year or so ago.
Don Henley has no power over me. I can forget about him any time I want to simply because I DON'T TURN ON THE RADIO. See? Easy.

KZOK is good.. I really enjoy the Pink Floyd show (and yes, KZOK still has the beatles show). However I was talking about "The Eagle" (which is south sounds "classic rock station"). and you obviously missed the part where I mentioned that they "used to play it at my work." I would love to not turn on the radio, since I haven't really done so in 5 years. However, AT MY WORK, I really don't have a choice, now do I? I suppose the only option would be to kill everyone at my work.. but then I'm sure they would send me to a prison where all they have to play is a radio station that only played don henley and phil collins... so I don't think that would solve much. in the mean while, while I still have that job (and haven't killed anyone), I still have to listen to the eagle...

There are harassment laws that protect you from having to endure that kind of thing. I once had to deal with someone playing Christian radio so loud I couldn't hear people on the phone...and I was at a call center at the time. So I feel your pain. But you either need to quit the job or cut that off with a complaint to management.
Complaining in a forum is a nice way to vent, and it probably feels better now that you've done that. But you have the right to not grind your teeth for 8 hours at a time because of someone else's musical choice.

yeah, true.. I have at least got them to turn it down.. so I don't have to hear it if I am in the back room (the room of salvation.. not only from the music, but from the heat).
