I've been a fan of J5 and Ozo (esp. when Chali2 and Cut were still in it)...
Anyone heard or seen Ozomatli or J5 live?!?

I've seen J5 live twice--They were really good both times. I saw Ozomatli for the first time this summer at this Taste of Dallas festival thing(for free)--and, they were amazing--they brought the horn section from one of my favorite local TX funk bands (Mingo Fishtrap) on stage for the first couple songs. While it was a spectacular show, I suspect they would be even better in a club setting rather than a festival.

Went and saw J5 last year at the Kool Haus in TO... they were pretty amazing, cut chemist wasnt there, but it didnt hurt the show at all... the best part by far was the end... no encore, they just came out into the crowd and talked and signed autogrpahs and stuff. me and my buddies hung around for like an hour after the show, and got to chat with chali and akil for 10 or 15 minutes, it was pretty sweet.
