yeah id say buy bass that was not very expensive, but u wanna be careful and not get a cheap one to the point say, the strings slip. but the more u will spend on a bass the better its gona last, its gonna be good quality. but i personally didnt spend much on a bass at all cos it was just to muck around on, but as u get better it would be a good idea get a better one so it can prapre for joining a band or something

Can't go wrong with one of those squire beginner packs or something. I started with a Charvell so anything has got to be better than that
