i have another question for you. The kills - Monkey 23 - cant seem to figure out the tab. or to be honest, i havent given it a go, i was hoping you would . im thinking its probably some open tuning, but im not sure.

actually, if you could just figure out the tuning, i could easily do the rest myself, and i will post it here.

the first chords are played with the C major shape starting with E. the slide from F# to G is more of a ghost chord (marked with the *) before quickly changing to B, same with the A before going back to E. the guitar player tends to beat on the E or B chords throughout the song

the high part around (0:53) is just a slide from A to B

that first chord only looks rough it's really not that bad. just don't try to extend your index finger further than it needs to go. going to drop D would actually make it tougher to play.

the simplest way to fret it is to use the same finger shape as a barre chord but one string lower, and only use your index finger to cover the 3 high strings, fret the G and mute the B and e.

you might also want to rotate your left hand so you're at more of an angle to the neck as if you were going to use your thumb to fret the low E. i know it's not 'proper' technique to use your thumb but it worked for hendrix, and if it was good enough for hendrix it's good enough for me
