Question What do you think of Madonna?

Im not so keen on her now, I used to be a hardcore fan but I can't stand her anymore. I suppose the whole putting-on-an-fake-english-accent-shooting-animals era was what put me off. I still quite like some of records though. I like 'The Immaculate Collection' best. She was at her best in the early 90s I think - I liked the Blonde Ambition stuff a lot.

I like some of her songs but there's a time in every artist's life to fade away into memory and start living in the real world. She's overshooting that point.

For me she absolutely KILLED America Pie. I'm a proud man. I can't forgive that.

I didn't like 'die another day' - I though it was emotionless and exceptionally week. I like 'Music' and 'Frozen' best.

i like her music better than her films, though i don't see many of those.
despite her age, she's still sexy and glistening on screen(at least so far as i know),
but the case is that how she really looks in real life. however, on the second thought, that doesn't matter that much---we see them mostly through media, most of time, she's not the one under the disguise.
as here, i don't know much about how she behaves in the US. but , you know, she tries to speak american english, which is really bad.
anyway, she's fading away. and no more days for her to freak me out.
i hope not.

I don't think she's fading away as such, she just doesn't seek publicity as much as she used to.

i found her to be WAY hotter as a 40 year old than when she was 20... just compare the 'ray of light' and 'lucky star' videos... and while the sound of her music has changed over the last few years... it's still meant to appeal to the same crowd it always has... and in that respect i'd say she hasn't really changed much over the last 20 years... but she sure knows how to re-invent herself and get back on top...

I'm with you there! Just heard the song on the radio today (the original), it's great! Madona's version is a great injustice.
