Hey,

Not sure what sort of music your into, But at my gym the music they place is "Minstry of Sound" and other house, drum and bass and dance music. Although I wouldn't listen to this sort of music at home, I find it a pleasure while working out!

Hope I've been a help,

Ste

I actually have that MP3, along with "The Final Countdown." But I don't think I could work out with a straight face while playing either...I keep them for football, baseball and basketball games when my team is down and they need a lift from me.

If I could only get them to play decent electronic music at my gym...I'd rejoice. Techno in particular is great when you need to be a continually moving object. I listen to it a lot here at work when I get bogged down with repetitive tasks.

I tend to listen mainly to electronic music and mid-tempo metal while working out, although I;ve surprised myself by having some nice workouts to bands like Stereolab. The time I had LL Cool J going, I was barking out random lyrics...people were looking at me funny

One time I was listening to "Full On Kevin's Mom" by Soundgarden while doing sit-ups and I felt like my head was going to explode.

I have noticed that fast metal and sit-ups don't seem to work for me, either...
