Lucky Thompson, R.I.P.

I just received an email informing me of the death of one of the great soprano & tenor players, who really didn't get the credit he deserved. He had a beautiful sound, on both instruments..

He had just turned 81 in June. Apparently, he had been suffering from Alzheimer's for some time.
