OK I'm bored, there's little good going on here so I'm gonna rant about what I love best: new bands!!!. If anyone wants to know what I'm listening to, click this thread. Oh and tell me if you agree and disagree, as usual.

First up, Outlines by Clor. This is the new single by a very strange-looking synth-rock band that i saw little less than six months ago supporting some other unkonwn band. Now they've got a single out, and it absolutely owns.

It's very ladytron, who i generally hate, but this is a really catchy number, and the chorus is adorable. Everyone, give them a listen.

Right, now an album. The Dead 60s by The Dead 60s.

Essentially there a new, not-quite-as-good version of the specials. They sound a lot like all those ska-revival bands and punk bands like the clash. The album has some good tracks, but TBH there strength lies in live performance:

Another pretty cool bad whose album I pruchased today: Maximo Park's A Certain Trigger. Very decent.

ah yeah i like that album, everyone else i know thinks its utter crap and i'm a fool for liking it. i can't figure that one out at all.
