So David, were you able to check out Daedalus? Do you plan on checking out Daedalus? Have you already heard Daedalus? Did you even notice that I suggested Daedalus?

i did but couldn't get anything from them. i'll try next weekend. thanks a lot geryon. i dig your style so feel free to let me know about new stuff you think i might enjoy.

i actually got plenty of new music and what i liked the best is tlon (aka jean-sébastien roux)'s acoustic lazy dolls, superb one of the best music i have heard in a while.

i got my hands on the soundtrack of solyaris' soundtrack and for me, it's one of the best albums ever. eduard artemyev is the composer.

well i've got all their music too and air still stands as the best band i've ever seen live. but that's exactly it. they were a LIVE band, yes electronics are involved but you can strip them out and their music will still stand. strip down aphex twin or autechre or biosphere from the electronics and what do you have? most of the time it's nothing.

air may well be electro-pop. but based on the names in your initial list i doubt that style of electronic music was really what you were going for. or was i wrong?

sorry to hear that your expectations weren't satisfied. Sometimes it takes a few listens to let it sink all the way in.
