thanks.

I remember reading about Phonem awhile back about how he was another one of the so called "deciphles" of autechre like Devine. I think Equinox told me more about him but I cant remember what it was now.

at one point it was kind awkward to see the resemblance of autechre in some phonem songs. anyway after you listen to enough phonem you will realize that he actually makes some very unique music.

some electronic bands sample riffs and some electronic bands sound as intrincate, heavy and fast as metallica did back in the day.

my point was that music is music and metalheads can find drum and bass and hardcore very appealing, just like some hardcore fans could find speed or heavy metal very interesting.

that was all the evil on my reply.

ic... interesting.

I'm in the early stages of my appreciation for electronica.

I'm still listening to the most popular albums that have been recommended to me by this forum and other people.

So far I'm liking ambient ALOT and most of the IDM I've heard.

But, Id be very interesting in getting some good drum & Bass

Makes me think of Enduser citing some of these bands as influences (copied and pasted from his MySpace Page) -

godflesh, swans , christoph de babalon, reinforced recs, metalheadz, suburban base, whitehouse, panacea, tech itch, dylan, pig destroyer , the bug, bdp, ultramagnetics, slayer , skinny puppy, nile , napalm death , dying fetus, big black, bad brains, the melvins, guns & ammo
