i've come to the conclusion that i like really hardcore music quite a bit...i've been falling into a pit of searching for something harder and faster all the time now. anyone have any favorite suggestions? here's an example of my past favorites:

make ronnie rocket - venetian snares
hand throw - venetian snares
vopak - speedy j
crap idol - shitmat
i'm not afraid to watch you die - datach'i
approaching menace - mu-ziq
cock/Ver10 - aphex twin
yari chuu, kyouroku isuu - bogdan raczynski
ask me no questions - emotional joystick
hard love - kid spatula

well, i'd check the stuff on Cock Rock Disko, as well as most of the stuff by Doormouse, especially the album 'Broken'. I wouldn't call Hellfish necessarily hardcore, but he's got some good moments.

The synkro album on Sublight records is pretty good, and also a compilation called 'Invasion From XXX Dimension'

Also, I'd look for an artist named Jason Forrest aka Donna Summer. Nice stuff indeed.

or hell, just check out Enduser!

thanks man, i'll be checking those out. i've been a little dissappointed with some of doormouse's stuff, but maybe i'm just listening to his shitty shit. i did enjoy B.E.E.R. a lot

i have enduser's "comparing paths" and it's pretty good...but not as hard as i thought it would be.

If you haven't checked out the Venetian Snares disc 'Winnipeg is a Frozen Shithole' on Sublight you might dig that as well, it's almost a gabber outing for him. I picked up the Bong-ra/Enduser/Shitmat split e.p. the other day (Monsters of Mashup) and it's pretty freaking good too.

check out Enduser's 'From Zero' on Mirex. With 'Comparing Paths', he kind of slowed down his beats and trying something a bit different. 'Run War' is a bit like Comparing, but has some fast stuff within the album.

'the monsters of mashup' is a good rec. Definitely check out the Bong-Ra stuff. It's pretty consistent.

Alec Empire is pretty nifty.

Keef can be pretty hardcore, especially under Sharp's Injury.
