Autechre's Gantz Graf Video/compared to regular song
Well, one this first came out, I listened to the song itself, and honestly, i was like "What the hell is this shit?"...well, I listened and listened, and it never caught on to me...well, when the ep/dvd came out, I immediately bought it because I heard the second bad vilbil and bass cadet videos were gonna be on the dvd...well, to my disappointment, the SBV video was edited to about 3 1/2 minutes, but the bass cadet video was fine for that time period...ok, onto my comparison...
As i said before, I didn't care shit for the song once it came out, but when I saw the video, HOLY SHIT WITH GUMDROPS!!! each and every sound, noise, tink, tack that's made, there's an accompanied movement, and that's what makes it the shit!
I even paused my dvd player and put it in slow mode...and oh my god, I let it play for 2 seconds and I could've sworn over 100 things had happened in those 2 short seconds...Rutterford really worked his ass off on this one!
ok, my 2 1/2 cents....or euros, or whatever the hell you wanna call it...

I`ve even seen it on MTV (only ending), but if you follow the nightly alternative nation you might see it......... maybe get it off the net is a better idea still.

well yes, the video may be poor to you, but you have to consider it was made in the early 90's!!!! For which, at that time, virtually no electronic artist made a video...

I received my copy yesterday and was listening to the EP when I was cooking. I wasnt' really paying attention since I was cooking. then, after dinner, I put the DVD in, and watched the video of gantz graf. that was a really energentic video. I mean the song with the animation went really well together.
in Bass Cadet video, there was 2 chinese characters on that little red robot thing, and it means "family". I wonder what it has to do with the whole concept of the video... hmmm after the video, it changed my opinion about the song Bass Cadet. It is one BAD A$$ song!
