Well I've always dug Chrissy Hynde, and the early Pretenders stuff, but then that's right when I was starting to come into my own musically. The first Pretenders album was one of the first albums I bought that my father didn't much care for. I could see why someone wouldn't like them.

yeah that's true. take away all the current members. recruit new, talented members who write good songs. and call it something else too.

Children of Bodom needs a singer, SING-er, or they need to just go instrumental....wow, they would be great if it weren't for the extremely GAY vocals.

If Dream Theater kicked out James LaBrie and learned how to write songs without blatantly ripping off other artists, I'd actually listen to them more. Also, a name change wouldn't hurt either.

Children of Bodom needs to lay off the keyboards a tad. Some of the melodies are amazingly cheesy.

Dream Theater needs to relax and drink a couple beers.

Their problem is way more than this but I think that Linkin Park would be much better off without that rapper guy. Has rap-rock ever worked (excluding anytime Rick Rubin was involved)?

Oi, don't exclude Rage. They had a reason to be angry. Several, actually. Angry kids with guitars never sounded so good. However, everything following has been a huge load of dump (to put things eloquently), the three worst of which being Korn, Limp Bizkit, and, of course, Linkin Park. While it may not be just, their spots in recent and present limelight is actually detrimental to their credibility, which wasn't very big in the first place.
The thing that gets me most are the lyrics. Can Chester Bennington write anything that isn't self-obsessed crap? And who the hell is this "you" that I keep hearing about? Apparently, "you" has screwed over more people than I care to count. I wonder why I haven't met "you" yet.
