The metal forum is dying so I thought it could use a new thread. Discuss everything about concerts here! What was your favorite concert? any concert stories?

A few weeks ago I went to the deicide concert here in calgary. Immolation, Skinless, Despised Icon,and With Passion were also there. I would say Skinless stole the show that night especially when the singer jumped out with the gas mask and started going crazy . I didn't stay for deicide too long. once they played serpents of the light I was happy.

I went to the Rock am Ring festival a couple of weeks ago. It was quite good. The weather wasn't very bright, but I had a great time nonetheless. Iron Maiden and Slayer were the metal bands there that I wanted to see, and they both put on a good show.

In August I'm going to check out the Gigantour in Detroit with Megadeth, Dream Theater, Symphony X, Nevermore, and others I can't think of right now....anyway it should be one hell of a show. I will certainly give details here on the Concert Thread

Gigantour has added a date in Calgary too, but 50 dollars seems a bit steep. I'll have to think about it. Overkill would be a better choice for just $20 so I'll probably go to that.
