Speakers Buzzing :(

I have fairly new Creative Computer speakers that are of decent quality or better. Past few weeks they've started buzzing and its very anoying I checked all the cord connections and that isnt the problem. I Don't think its feedback either as i havent moved them closer or farther apart. Any Ideas?

do you have a real soundcard or is your sound device built onto the motherboard? my roommate was having similar issues and it turned out to be some weird overload from the mobo getting a real card instead of relying on the motherboard chip fixed his problem. then again we're geeks and we had spare soundcards laying around

I think I have a real soundcard, is there any way to fix it without replacing/taking it out?

if that was the case rebooting your system would provide a temporary fix. try plugging your speakers into a different device to find out if it's the soundcard of the speaker system that's messing up. a discman should suffice for the test. if it's the soundcard then it might be dust in the input jack (compressed air would clean that out) if not then you might be looking at a new card. if it's the speakers then i hope your warranty is still valid, dunno how to fix those.
