pff that's only a side issue, isn't it? that's hardly a crucial thing for hiphop

Is it? But why do all other rappers have 'em then, even our backwater Berlin-rappers?

And what about Lakers-jerseys? Have they got Lakers-jerseys?

well it's a mainstream rap style that they like to subscribe to, I guess...

and Berlin has a great music scene at the moment, although many of the artists residing there now aren't actually German, many Canadians actually... like Feist, Gonzales,...

I meant German-rappers from Berlin, not other musicians. I know alot of foreign musicians live there which aren't anywear NEAR as bad as the rappers from the Aggro Berlin label.

Don't tell me your Belgian rappers don't wear any Lakers-jerseys! Mainstream or not...they ALL have them! What kinda rappers are your Belgian rappers anyway?!

Starflam

't Hof van Commerce

Krewcial

I haven't heard any German rap yet, so I don't know what to say about it... Swedish rap though, seemed rather ridiculous, I accept non Dutch people would feel the same about Dutch rap (like 't Hof van Commerce), rap in French like Starflam can be quite good though...

Hm. Strange, your Belgian rappers don't come over very "from da hood".

Want German rap? Search for "Sido" and his song/video "Fuffies im Club". I'm currently sharing the video on Soulseek BTW. And search for some pics from his pals from the "Aggro Berlin" label. That's what I call rap!

first of all...it's not the way they look what determins the quality of their music
(you're kinda making the same mistake again)

other belgian rappers are 'de puta madre'
--> on the internet you can probably find what peegonzales looks like...sinds you're so interested in looks...

It's NOT me who made baggies and Lakers-jerseys an issue! It's the rap-artists themselves! Or at least most of them. Even the ones outside the States. They claim it's imperative for being "true to da game" or something like that.
Me, I can't judge it. I just see that your Belgian non-"hood"-rappers don't wear such stuff and therefor aren't "real rappers", according to the ones who do wear that kinda stuff.

Forgot to ask about gold-chains and pulling your pants up to the chin BTW, but nevermind.

But what about waving around all the time onstage and doing all those guestures and moves and all? Do they make that "Westcoast"-sign? Is there a rivalry in the Belgian rap-scene? Like Eastcoast vs Westcoast?
