About Massive Attack

I just started to listen to the funky and soulful Massive Attack. I must say it's way different then my music tastes but, I like it. Anything else I should know about Massive Attack? I just started to listen to Blue Lines (first ever album I've listened to of theirs). Album recommandations, history, etc. would be nice

Samoan Joe's Barman: You want a pint, you go to the pub.
Bacon: I thought this was a pub!
Samoan Joes Barman: It's a Samoan pub.

check out tricky's solo stuff if you want a darker sounding style than what massive attack has to offer. he did quite a bit of vocal work on their earlier stuff, personally i like his stuff better than MA.

I listened to all of Blue Lines and most of it I liked but a few songs I didn't. I'll be sure to check Mezzaine I hear good things about that album.

check out "no protection" - a remix of massive attack by mad professor. it is a very worthy companion piece "protection"

Check out Portishead as well, they're also genius and from the same part of the UK, must be summat in the air over there.

No, 100th Window is not that good. I think there's about 3 good songs on the whole album. I say buy that album last.
